Job Description:
Our client, an engineering company, is looking to hire a Project Engineer to be based in their Abu Dhabi Office.
1. Lead and supervise project team in order that daily tasks are completed, targets are achieved within budget and on time, producing data and reports where required.
2. Analyze project needs so as to be able to assist in developing project objectives, ensure work installed on projects meets plan and specification requirements, and assure compliance with project plans and specifications.
3. Supervise project site daily to ensure Health and Safety procedures are applied appropriately and that tasks are executed in accordance with agreed specifications, procedures and method statements.
4. Ensure all information on drawings is conveyed to teams correctly in order to promote understanding and to avoid complications in the completion of the project.
5. Delegate daily work, monitor performance status, attending site meetings in order for all project needs and performance to be assessed and met, thus guaranteeing successful completion.
6. Monitor work of sub-contracting workforce to maintain that both quality and time measures are being adhered to.
7. Orchestrate with plant and operations departments to organize required resources and meet the needs of the project as clarified by Project Manager.
8. Assist in the arrangement of permits, approvals and inspections from concerned government authorities in order for project documentation to be correct.
