Job Description:
Under the guidance of the Provincial Operations Officer and the direct supervision of the WHO Programme and Administrative Officer as the first level supervisor and the overall supervision of the WHO Representative as the second level supervisor, the Provincial Finance Assistant will undertake the following duties:

1. To maintain appropriate accounting records for funds spent in his province of assignment in accordance with WHO financial rules and procedures particularly:

1.1. Review, check and computerize the provincial accounts

1.2. Maintain a follow-up system for the collection of accounts for funds advanced for training and/or other collaborative activities

1.3. Management and disbursement of cash for the office.

1.4. Prepare the monthly statement of accounts and process payments.

2. To organize financial support for training workshops and seminars held in the province of assignment including reimbursement to participants and preparation of the statement of accounts.
