Job Description:
1. Meet authorized personnel at designated field locations, travels with them and serves as a guide;
2. Act as interpreter in the exchange of routine information, contributes to related liaison activities and responds directly to routine queries;
3. Verify information about Afghan Refugees and their special needs (RIPAC);
4. Collect data and other information on development and/or subject-matter activities of the country or area;
5. Follow-up, on a regular basis, the overall situation in refugee settlements and other areas where refugees have been accommodated;
1. In co-ordination with the local authorities, monitor the implementation of UNHCR assistance in refugees;
2. Assist supervisor in planning, formulating and evaluating projects;
3. Perform other duties as required.
