Job Description:
This is a technical role and is accountable for the day-to-day operations of the storage infrastructure.  The bulk of your responsibility will be support of the storage environment including hardware configurations, storage provisioning, replication, encryption and back up / recovery functions. Other duties will include performance monitoring, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Our client has over 55,000 employees, so you will be dealing with large quantities of information.

Experience across a multi SAN environment is a must and it is imperative you have worked extensively on Tivoli storage manager. You must also possess three to five years experience with EMC platforms including EMC clarion storage, two years experience with tape systems, retention schedules and vaulting techniques, Tivoli storage manager operation and must have an understanding of SAN switching, Cisco / Brocade.
