PEOPLESOFT DEVELOPER / ANALYST

Location: Kuwait. A prominent American Standard University in Kuwait is looking for an experienced Developer with the following skills set:Roles &

Responsibilities:
• Provide application development and production support to the PeopleSoft system.
• Strong verbal, written and communication skills.
• A good team player and self-starter, who can work in a team environment and also work independently.
• Participate as a programmer or lead depending on the scope of the task and duration.
• Develop the rules and procedures for issue resolution. Create a collaborative environment and work closely with business users to improve the system performance.
• Create functional and technical design documents for a better understanding of the processes.
• Take necessary measures to ensure that special events such as end term processing, financial year close, etc., are smoothly completed.
• Provide guidance and direction to the team.
• Conduct the user training and workshops for better understanding of the system functionality.
• Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results in support of PeopleSoft Systems.
• Create configuration, blueprints, and other missing documentation to improve the existing processes.
• Recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards.
• Review and audit process flows.
• Facilitate design review and sign-off sessions.
• Improve issue logging and tracking processes.
• Create, design and implement test plans, test scripts for various cycles of testing.
• Document test results for auditing purposes.
• Develop procedural guidelines to prioritize and escalate issues for resolution.Job Requirements:
• At least 8+ years of experience in implementing PeopleSoft.
• Must have worked with PeopleSoft versions 8.0 and higher. Experience in PeopleSoft 9.0 version is a plus.
• Candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Prior documentation experience in functional, technical and customizations is highly desired.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in People Tools, PIA, People Code, Application Engine, SQR, and Crystal is needed.
• Master’s degree in Information Technology or Bachelor’s degree, with equivalent experience is needed.
• Prior experience in a higher education background will be a plus and functional knowledge of campus solutions is desired.
• Expert in People Tools, People Code, Application Engine, SQR, Crystal and other PeopleSoft related tools.
• Experience in testing and implementing PeopleSoft patches and bundles.
• Expertise in the full life cycle implementation and upgrade of PeopleSoft.Salary KD 1,000
