Job Description:
Etimaad Engineering (Pvt) Ltd is a professionally managed and owned enterprise with a management team possessing experience of several decades for successfully delivering projects involving engineering, manufacturing, construction and plant maintenance as well as offering turnkey (EPC) solutions to clients in the Middle East and Pakistan.
They are currently looking to fill in the following permanent Engineering position:
Design Engineer Electrical
B.E Electrical. Proficiency in power systems analysis software. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience is required
Role Description:
The incumbent will be designing, specifying and selecting appropriate electrical plant and equipment like switchgear, MCC, cables, transformers, protection & earthing systems for Power Generation and Oil & Gas project. Able to write the technical specification & develop BOQ.
Writing of technical specifications, philosophy of electrical system.
To develop BOQs .data sheets and associated documentation as per tender requirements.
To establish single line diagram, load list, calculation of cable sizing and lighting requirements, developing of cable schedule, power cable lay out and earthing system lay out.
Commitment to quality and meeting deliverables.
To develop procurement enabling information and evaluation of vendor quotes
Familiarity with instrumentation and mechanical engineering
Proficiency in power systems analysis software
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Plan and manage the CAD documentation of design work
Prepare technical schedules, work closely with and monitor performance of technician
Represent meeting with the clients, other professionals and suppliers
Searching for new clients that could benefit from company products or services and maximizing customer potential in designated territory.
Ensure service and projects works are carried out within agreed deadlines and within budget
Follow – up dispatch, arrival and delivery of orders and co-ordinate with the concerned Engineer for timely delivery to project or customers. Maintain a special log book for this purpose.
Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery coordinating/ Checking on Interferences between Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC and Fire Fighting: On-site Support
Distribution/ Management of drawing and document : Checking on and seeking to ensure effective process (with client and Design Team
Designing and Lay outing
