A foreign Bank based with presence in Pakistan, is looking for a Risk Reviewer to join their branch in Karachi.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

Masters (MBA/MPA/CA) from a recognized university with eight to ten years’ commercial Credit/Risk experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Executing agreed targets/review plans for assigned portfolios while ensuring that review and team efficiency standards are maintained at the highest level
Measuring risks in assigned portfolio, which includes objective and systematic evaluation of the overall quality of loan portfolio, processes involved, risk management systems/personnel and giving specific portfolio/process recommendations
Be reflective of the historical trend of disclosed weaknesses in credit processes
Responsible for reporting its findings credit analyses including but not restricted to escalation of significant breaches or concerns to Head BRR
Position shall heighten awareness and use of credit analyses of loan structure/financial strength of counterparties and credit cycle processes through personal on-the-job training to BRR team members
Responsible for overall team management during onsite reviews
Desktop evaluations
Any special projects assigned by Head BRR
Collaborates with all lending functions and its supporting functions within the bank like CAD, Finance, IT and Internal Audit
Proven credit and analytical skills with demonstrable communication dexterity
Strong PC skills
Sound understanding of industry, applicable regulations, best practices and trends in risk review
Good interpersonal, time management and problem solving skills and ability to handle pressure
