Job Description:
The officer will be responsible for running day to day operations of Data Warehouse applications and projects including development and maintenance of reports and dashboards. He/She will be responsible for ensuring that accuracy of data, loaded in the Data Warehouse as per SLA and will also ensure that data and information provide to business users is authentic. He/She will develop/analyze data and information for unusual trends and anomalies and will inform business users accordingly. In case of a data quality issue or unavailability of data, he/she will follow up the matter with relevant teams/departments until the issue is resolved. He/she will produce and maintain relevant documentation for quick reference purpose and will be conscious of information confidentiality and dissemination criteria. He/she will take an active part in the implementation of projects and change requests involving the Data Warehouse and its applications. The individual will also ensure the availability of Data Warehouse applications to end users.

0 – 2 years of relevant experience
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure timely completion of ETL operations and availability of information through Data Warehouse applications and implemented projects as per SLA.
• Ensure successful completion of periodic data quality assurance before information is made available to end users.
• Timely follow up with source systems teams on issues related to missing/incomplete/late delivery of data and find resolution to these issues.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data and information sent to business users.
• Investigate and document accurate details of issues/reasons/factors behind unusual gaps/trends/data figures.
• Take an active part in timely implementation of change requests and new projects related to Data Warehouse.
• Update existing information and produce new documentation covering requirement definitions, design changes, data model modifications, reports functionality aspects, etc.
• Address ad-hoc and regular reporting requirements through reporting tools and programming languages.
• Conduct performance optimization analysis of existing scripts, etc. to suggest and implement modifications and improvements.
• Perform health checks and conduct capacity planning analysis on Data Warehouse applications, implemented projects to ensure the 24/7 availability to business users.
Education/Professional Qualification Degree(s)/Major(s):
BCS/MCS

• PL/SQL Scripting
• Optimization and Tuning of Unix and DB scripts
• Data retrieval and presentation
• SQL and TD tools
• Analytical Tools (Business Objects)
