Job Description:
The Executive would be responsible to run day to day operations of Data Warehouse. He/She would be responsible for ensuring that data is stored in Data Warehouse as per system specifications. The individual would carry out analysis, design and actual development of reports. He/She would be responsible to ensure confidentiality of information. He/she will be responsible for developing/analysing the data and communicating the development and deadline for reports. Besides report development, He/She will also be responsible for configuring the business users using Business Objects and Data Warehousing RDBMS tools.
Reports To Assistant Manager Data Warehouse Applications & Revenue Assurance;
Experience Required:
2 – 3 years of relevant experience
Key Responsibilities
• Ensuring the smooth operations of ETL processes.
• Ensuring Accuracy and integrity of data in the base and aggregate tables.
• Back end Reconciliations with all data sources interfaced with data warehouse.
• Coordination between internal and external resources with respect to anomalies within Data Sources.
• Handling Periodic/Regular Reconciliations.
• Recommending the Optimization of DB and APP.
• Scrutinizing logical and physical design.
• Maintaining the history of changes applied to ETL.
• Maintaining Operational Metadata and quality reports.
• Maintaining the harmony among DWH
• Developing Ad-hoc, Analytical and Transactional Reports .
• Ensuring reports authenticity (First Check).
• Taking initiatives for what if analysis for business.
• Tracking of reports requests send/receive.
• Routine and Processes for reports.
• Handling all reports (Transactional + Analytical).
• Strong coordination with DWH group analyzing the overall impact of new projects on BSS, TCO and ROI.
• Maintaining the design documents up-to-date and history.
• Participating in new Data Warehouse Projects.
Education/Professional Qualification Degree(s)/Major(s):
BCS/MCS
Certification(s): RDBMS
Skills required • PL/SQL Scripting
• Optimization and Tuning of Unix and DB scripts
• Data retrieval and presentation
• SQL and TD tools
• Analytical Tools (Business Objects)
• Developing and executing ad-hoc/regular reports
• ETL scripting and groups monitoring
